Major Religions
The world has 5 major religions which are Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, and Hinduism.
-Christianity takes up 25.8% of the world. Christianity is monotheistic and believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Bible.
-Islamic takes up 15.1% of the population. Islamic is monotheistic and believes in the teachings of Muhammad and the Qur'an.
-Hinduism takes up 10.4% of the population and is one of the world's oldest religions dating back 5,000 year. Hinduism is polytheistic and is mostly centered in India but has followers else where.
-Buddhism takes up 4.7% of the population. Buddhism was started by Buddha and they believe in nirvana which is the belief that if you live right you will reach spiritual enlightenment.
-Judaism takes up 0.2% of the population. Judaism are monotheistic and believe in the Torah.
-Other religions take up 43.8% of the population.
